A mellow blend of roasted and puffed brown rice grains with sencha, genmaicha (or rice tea), is a well loved and reliable Japanese tea. 

Origin: Uji, Japan, spring 2019

While most genmaicha is made using low grade sencha or bancha, ours is made from ichibancha – tea from the revered first harvest of the year. The rice has a rich and hearty flavour which balances well with the freshness of the sencha, making it an easy tea to enjoy.

Brewing Guidelines

Brew 4g of tea leaves in 200ml of water at 80°C for 1.5 minutes before serving. Reinfuse.
